The AeroTEC Wide Body Hangar #2 is over 78,000 SF of space to accommodate various sizes of aircraft for testing and certification. It’s constructed of a pre-engineered metal building system, with the roof and exterior walls finished in prefabricated metal panes secured to steel purlins/girts. A foam suppression fire protection system, along with fire sprinklers, keep the hangar safe. Once activated, the foam suppression system fills the hangar with 5 ft of foam in about 4 minutes.
