Rubberized flooring systems were installed throughout to comply with the hospital ICRA standards and create uniformity in appearance between the various buildings. New finishes and wall layout allow easier access for patient transport on beds pre and post surgery. Lydig performed a significant amount of work during evenings and weekends to keep the hospital’s schedule of procedures on track. During construction of the Pre-Surgery Care Unit, Lydig serviced eight surgery theatres, keeping one theatre fully operational six days a week from 7 am to 10 pm.
