The existing Wilson-Pacific buildings were demolished to make way for the new campus development. Worth noting is the late Robert Eagle Staff, Lakota, was a principal at the America Indian Heritage School from 1989-1996 when the program was housed at the Wilson-Pacific building.

Cascadia Elementary serves approximately 660 students; 850 students for Robert Eagle Staff Middle School; and 150 students for Licton Springs K-8. The new schools were constructed simultaneously on the existing 17-acre campus site and share a common athletic field which is also available for the local parks department and public use. The original Wilson-Pacific school buildings were adorned with Native American murals by local Native American artist Andrew Morrison, Apache/Haida, that were preserved, detached, stored, and reinstalled onto both the new elementary and middle schools.

Both school buildings were built using precast concrete panels with fiber cement board walls, fiberglass glazing, and multi-ply membrane roofing on the exterior enclosures supported by steel framing. The project elements also included energy efficiency achieved through optimum daylighting, thermally efficient fiberglass windows, LED lighting fixtures, low-maintenance mechanical and plumbing systems, and installation of synthetic turf field with exterior netting.
