This plant will produce carbon fibers for the new i3 and i8 Series electric vehicles by BMW. Lydig Construction partnered with SGL ACF for all 3 phases of construction. Phase 1: A 46k SF Office/Warehouse and a 110k SF Process Facility with support space, warehouse for product storage and a lab for product testing. Phase 2: A 116k SF building which houses process lines 3 and 4 and employs approximately 130 people. Phase 3: A Design-Build project for process lines 5 and 6 on investigating mechanical and electrical systems design and identifying potential cost savings
