The project included construction of key water infrastructure and modernization of an existing fish hatchery near Wells Dam. Major elements included cast-in-place concrete head tank buildings consolidating river and well water sources, installation of large-diameter piping systems, and construction of a pollution abatement pond. Additional scope involved building a new adult handling facility with updated fish processing technology, a circular tank spawning facility, and the renovation of existing hatchery structures. The work also required demolition, utility rerouting, and close coordination with dam operations and FERC-regulated oversight, all delivered on an accelerated schedule.
