Valley Medical Center Emergency Services Tower
A state-of-the-art healthcare facility combining emergency, critical care, and disaster response in one integrated campus.
Located on the hospital’s main campus in Renton, this seven-story, 246,000 SF facility includes a 45,000 SF Emergency Center and Level III Trauma Center capable of treating more than 100,000 patients annually. The tower houses a 30-bed intensive care unit, additional patient floors, surgery units, and hospital rooms. The project also includes two levels of underground parking totaling 124,500 SF for 304 vehicles, designed to function as a community disaster recovery facility with a command center, decontamination equipment, and a resuscitation room. The structure is reinforced concrete with shear walls and features a glass window wall exterior system.
