Pike Place Market South Elevator & Stairs Replacement

Lydig helped modernize and improve accessibility at Seattle’s iconic Pike Place Market by replacing the south elevator and stairs connecting the Market to the waterfront.
The Pike Place Market South Elevator and Stairs Replacement Project significantly enhanced accessibility and visitor flow at one of Seattle’s most recognizable destinations. The project introduced new, state‑of‑the‑art elevators and stairs that provide seamless movement between all levels of the Market parking garage and the waterfront connection. Thoughtfully selected design elements allow the new vertical circulation systems to blend with the Market’s historic character while meeting modern standards for safety, accessibility, and functionality.
