The expansion and renovation delivers an upgraded, patient‑focused healthcare facility with enhanced clinical capacity and continuous operations throughout construction.
Island Hospital’s project included the renovation of 11,000 SF of existing pharmacy, endoscopy, chapel, OB, and cafeteria spaces, along with 68,500 SF of new construction to expand emergency services, imaging, laboratory functions, inpatient care, and the hospital’s main entrance. The expanded facility delivers 31 new inpatient beds and modernized clinical environments designed to support efficient care delivery. Through close planning and coordination with Island Hospital and the design team, construction was carefully phased to maintain patient safety and uninterrupted hospital operations. The completed facility provides a contemporary healthcare environment with advanced technology, improved accessibility, and infrastructure designed to support long‑term growth and high‑quality patient care.
