Evergreen Health Progressive Care Units

An occupied hospital renovation delivering new patient care space and mechanical system upgrades within an active medical tower.
This project combined two capital efforts into a single, coordinated construction scope totaling 73,000 square feet within Evergreen’s Silver Tower. Scope A included interior build‑out of the fourth and fifth floors into Progressive Care Units, adding 62 new patient beds. Scope B focused on mechanical upgrades, including installation of new air handling units, reworking existing ductwork, and converting occupied floors 6, 7, and 8 from constant volume to variable air volume (VAV) systems. All work was executed while the hospital remained fully occupied and operational and was completed in six months through careful scheduling, phasing, and coordination.
