AeroTec Hangar
The AeroTEC Flight Test Center at Moses Lake Airport includes three specialized hangars consisting of a narrow-body facility and two wide-body hangars, supporting aircraft flight testing, certification, and large-scale maintenance and overhaul operations.
Narrow Body Hangar - The Narrow Body Hangar, placed between the two larger Wide Body Hangars on the edge of the airport’s tarmac, is a 32,000 SF structure with room to hold a pair of Boeing 737 Max’s. The Narrow Body Hangar complements the hangars on either side of it, adding another robust and specialized workspace to the AeroTEC Flight Test Center at the Moses Lake Airport.
Wide Body Hangar #2 - is AeroTEC’s newest and largest hangar, boasting 85,000 SF of space, and was constructed to enhance AeroTEC’s Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) program. The first project to be housed in the hangar for MRO was the renowned Global SuperTanker Boeing 747 known for fighting wildfires throughout the world.
Wide Body Hangar #1 - A 70,000 SF state-of-the-art flight testing facility originally used to test and certify for public use the new Mitsubishi Regional passenger Jet. The facility is designed and sized for potential future work to accommodate every Boeing airplane, including the upcoming 777-9X.
