Coldwater Creek
Sandpoint, Idaho
For its newest flagship store, Coldwater Creek looked to Lydig Construction to transform the 100-year old historic building into a 9300 square foot retail and hospitality space. Work included a new structural system, new building systems, an elevator and an upgrade of the HVAC, electrical and plumbing throughout the building. In just 30 weeks, Lydig completed the project, which included the retail space, a wine bar, and two condominium units on the upper floor. Much of the building’s original brick and Douglas fir was preserved and showcased to reflect Coldwater Creek’s image. In addition to the fast track schedule, the challenge of working in a historic building and creating a flagship store in Coldwater Creek’s headquarters town were met by Lydig’s Special Projects Group.
