Lydig Construction provided preconstruction and construction services for this GC/CM project. The 3-level, 60,000 SF addition includes an expanded Emergency Department and Diagnostic Imaging Department on the first floor. This ties in with the main level of the existing hospital. A new inpatient nursing unit occupies the second floor, adding 31 beds; 23 private inpatient beds and 8 ICU beds.
A new lobby “pavilion” replaced the previous entrance and new circulation corridors connect the entry to the new addition. Other renovated areas include the cafeteria, associated services, OB/Birthing Center, Rehabilitation Clinic, Endoscopy Room, information systems and materials management.
