Washington State Penitentiary Warehouse
Walla Walla, Washington
This $5.7 million project included over 38,000 square feet of new construction. It involved tilt-up, sandwich panel structure, supporting steel joists and decking. The building consists of a large dry warehouse, cold storage, freezer storage and an office area. Many sustainable design elements were incorporated into this building, including extensive use of daylighting and a state-of-the-art HVAC system. This project achieved a LEED Silver building certification upon completion.
