Southside Cafe (Rotunda), Washington State University
Pullman, Washington
Located on the first floor of a two-story building, approximately 30,000 SF of the Rotunda Dining Center’s kitchen and dining areas were renovated. The Rotunda is WSU’s largest student dining facility.
New food service preparation, serving and store fronts areas were constructed. New electrical, telecommunications and mechanical systems including dishwashing, cooking hoods, air conditioning and new chilled water lines took place. A new elevator and adjacent stairwell was added to the building’s main entry area. Other work included adding new and rerouting existing storm and sewer lines. Fire alarms and a new automatic fire sprinkler system were added to the entire building with the fire alarms connected directly to Pullman’s local fire department.
