Lydig performed full renovation of the 3rd, 4th, & 5th floors of biochemistry labs and offices within the UW Health Sciences Center J -Wing. Construction included abatement of asbestos VCT and underlayment, and complete wall and piping demolition. New work included all finishes and lab casework, shelving and fixtures, extensive lab equipment, chemical fume hoods and biosafety cabinets, water and lab gas piping and fixtures, stainless steel shelving, and complete HVAC within the work space. Work was completed while classes were in session in other parts of the building.
