Community Involvement
		Lydig Construction puts great emphasis on activities outside of normal business operations that serve the needs of our community. The following are just a couple of current examples of such activities: The Road to Wishes In 2004, several Lydig motorcycle enthusiasts decided to create a motorcycle ride to benefit Wishing Star, a local wish-granting organization.  Since then, the annual ride has grown to include more than 125 riders and raises enough funds to grant wishes to five children with life-threatening illnesses each year. Rebuilding Together Rebuilding Together is a non-profit, charitable organization that sponsors a one-day event every year to help homeowners who are unable to take care of very basic needs for maintaining their homes. During the day, tasks can range from re-roofing to stopping leaks, installing handicap ramps for the wheelchair bound, fixing plumbing or electrical systems to be operational again, repainting, etc. For the past three years, dozens of Lydig employees in our Bellevue and Spokane offices have spent a very long Saturday each spring to rebuild a home for a local family.
