Community Involvement

Lydig Construction puts great emphasis on activities outside of normal business operations that serve the needs of our community. The following are just a couple of current examples of such activities:

Heart Walk
Each year, Lydig is a local sponsor and team participant in the American Heart Association’s Heart Walk. Since 1924 the American Heart Association has helped protect people from heart disease and stroke. These diseases, the Nation’s No.1 and No.3 killers, claim more than 910,000 American lives a year.

Blood Drive
Every month, the Inland Northwest Blood Center sends their mobile collection vehicle to Lydig’s office. In 2007, Lydig was honored to receive INBC’s Largest Mobile Blood Drive Sponsor award.

Bowling for Kids’ Sake
A little friendly competition among Lydig employees fuels participation in this benefit for Big Brothers Big Sisters.

Care Packages for Soldiers in Iraq
Employees of Lydig Construction regularly send care packages to groups of U.S. soldiers stationed in Iraq.

Toys for Tots
Every year, Lydig employees give to the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation, which provides shiny new toys to disadvantaged children who might otherwise be overlooked during the holidays
